OUR 2ND ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GIVE-BACK
December 1, 2021
The Children of the Soil International, INC. (CHOTS) is pleased to announce their second annual Christmas give-back in Liberia, West Africa. The Christmas give-back is a chosen day of the festive season that CHOTS uses to deliver their donations for that year and celebrate the birth of Christ at a select orphanage(s) with food, games, etcetera.
CHOTS has chosen two orphanages to work with this year, namely: The Liberia Christian Youth Mission (81 children) and Hope in Christ Mission (76 children). Combine; they have 157 (one hundred fifty-seven) children and 20 (twenty) caregivers totaling 177 (one hundred seventy-seven) people. We are kindly inviting you to sponsor a meal(s) at the cost of two United States dollars ( $2.00 US) per plate as we bring joy to the festive season and the life of these children.
December 20th is the deadline for the donations for this event - thank you much for your support.

WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THE SUPPORT
January 22, 2022
We want to thank everyone who supported our 2021 Christmas give-back campaign. Our second annual campaign was a complete success due to all the generosity. A special thanks to the people of Fern Creek Baptist Church for their continued prayers and donations towards our cause - we are grateful.
By God's grace, we met our goal of providing meals for 177 children and their caregivers at two orphanages: The Liberian Christian Youth Mission and the Hope in Christ Mission in Liberia. In addition, we also delivered other donated items collected in 2021, including clothes, books, backpacks, bags of rice, and other school essentials.

INTERVIEW WITH DAWNE GEE OF WAVE3 NEWS COUNTRY
Fundraiser for our Vocational Training Program (WATCH FULL INTERVIEW IN OUR GALLERY)
Our founder and co-founder visited Wave3 News to kindly inform the public about its cause and their coming fundraiser program scheduled for the 30th of September, 2023.
After two-plus years of assisting orphanages with tuition assistance, school essentials (backpack, books, pens/pencils, clothes, etcetera), and an end-of-the-year Christmas celebration. We were informed (during our founder’s visit to Liberia) that the children who have aged out of the orphanages have no resources to assist their post-orphanage life.
With that said, the team at CHOTS brainstormed means to empower these children through a vocational training program – considering that they have had caretakers for most of their lives. This program will provide skills like carpentry, tailoring, plumbing, baking, etcetera.
In doing so, CHOTS is kindly doing and inviting you all to its first-ever fundraiser in Louisville, Kentucky, in raising the amount $10,000 USD. This fund will construct a center that will host the children during their vocational training program and get the necessary materials and people to make succes of the program.
THANK YOU FERNCREEK BAPTIST CHURCH
